Welcome...
to the parish of Kirklees Valley Bury, comprising All Saints Church, formerly of Elton, now located in Brandlesholme, and St James' Church Woolfold. We are Anglican Churches in the Liberal Catholic tradition. We are warm, friendly, and open communities of disciples of Jesus Christ. We exist to worship God in the Anglican tradition, spread the good news of the Gospel, and reach out to our neighbours in service and fellowship. All are welcome to our weekly services, seasonal festivities, regular activities and occasional events. We also love to welcome the wider community to our Churches for the occasional offices of Baptism and Marriage, and are honoured to join in remembering those who have died at Funeral and memorial services, for all of which, please do contact us. We share one Vicar, Fr Sam Eccleston AOP (also Vicar of St Stephen's Elton- www.ststephenelton.com), and are served by a talented and dedicated team of retired clergy, Authorised Lay Ministers, and lay volunteers. Each church site has a community hall which is used by a variety of voluntary, community, and commercial groups, all of whom add greatly to the life of the local area.
Safeguarding
At All Saints and St James we work hard to maintain a safe environment for all.
